Join us as we gather at the threshold of Samhain for a Costume Ball: a night to make, dance and celebrate. Arrive early (6pm) for a fancy dress-themed clothes swap, and the chance to dress up and create simple costumes and masks using foraged materials. Bring old costumes to swap and any curious foraged findings to craft with. Enjoy a grazing table of local, organic and seasonal food, alongside a non-alcoholic cocktail on arrival. The evening will unfold into a conscious free dance, accompanied by a curated selection of contemporary Irish music, in a playful, open and craic-centred atmosphere. This is a be here now event, so we kindly ask for no alcohol, drugs or screens. Barefoot Dance is a regular community dance in thomastown based on five rhythms of Gabrielle Roth.
