Inspired by the magical folklore and mythical storytelling of the Harry Potter world, this unique concert event brings together music, imagination, and fantasy in the atmospheric surroundings of St Canice’s Cathedral. Transcribed and performed by Ukrainian concert organist Ewa Belmas, Harry Potter and the Wizarding Organ features a suite of her own arrangements from the first three Harry Potter films, with original scores composed by John Williams and inspired by the world-famous stories created by J. K. Rowling. Performed on our magnificent organ — the mystical “King of Instruments” — within the historic setting of St Canice’s Cathedral, the concert offers an immersive and atmospheric experience for audiences of all ages, particularly children and families. Two performances will take place on 29 October at 4.30pm and 6.30pm, transforming the cathedral into a magical space of music, storytelling, and wonder during the Home of Halloween Festival.
