Join us on Friday 18th September at 12pm for a morning celebrating traveller culture through song, cant poetry and a short film ‘Who Are We Now’, followed by Q&A from the audience and refreshments afterwards. FREE ADMISSION – No booking required Brought to you by Kilkenny Traveller Movement , in collaboration with Susie Lamb, supported by Watergate Theatre. Featuring: Music by Caitlin Donovan, whose voice and music celebrates Traveller culture. A poem read by Polly Connors from the Carlow Travellers Forum, translated from English into Cant, the Traveller language. The launch of a short film, ‘Who Are We Now’, featuring Traveller women sharing their experiences and reflecting on the changes in Traveller women’s lives over the decades. A question and answer session moderated by Susie Lamb and Star Stokes.
