Today, Adrianne Lenker (Big Thief) presents her new single and video, ‘Ruined’, and announces a very special solo concert in Kilkenny’s St. Canice’s Cathedral on Saturday 20 April 2024. ‘Ruined’ is a heart-breaking, remarkable intro to Lenker’s highly anticipated new solo album, which she has announced will be coming in 2024. Lenker is a generational songwriter, performing at an unprecedented scale and continuing to surprise listeners. On ‘Ruined’, Lenker moves to the piano for the first time, lamenting, “Can’t get enough of you // You come around I’m ruined.” A powerful torch song that demands attention, ‘Ruined’ is destined to stay with you after its final notes fade.
