The Tea Houses is delighted to invite you to the book launch of ‘Bernadette Kiely: We look at the world once… selected works and words 2015–2025’, officially launched by Dr. Ciara Healy, Head of Fine Art and Education at Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD), Technological University of the Shannon.

Join us for a few words from Dr. Healy, excerpts read from the book, and light refreshments. We will also be showing ‘As Water Flows’, a short film by Amelia Caulfield, originally made for Kiely’s exhibition ‘Ashes and Rain’ at the Regional Cultural Centre in Donegal, 2025.

Signed copies of the book will be available for sale throughout the afternoon.

Please note this event will be followed by the Dublin launch at the Taylor Galleries on Thursday 16 April, accompanied by an exhibition of the artist’s drawings.

This event is part of the Spring & Summer programme at The Tea Houses, curated by Shannon Carroll. Part of the Kilkenny Arts Office and Kilkenny County Council Arts Programme.
