Dedicated to improving the employment prospect of people with disabilities, Camphill Initiatives for Social Ecology (CISE) will transform the Old KBC Bank into a vibrant hub of culinary excellence and social inclusion.
Enjoy delicious samples, make purchases, and engage in conversations with the trainees and their tutors, with informative talks, engaging workshops, and appearances by special guest chefs. Learn about the variety of skills being taught, from butter-making and vegetable growing to baking and cooking.
Tutors will be available to discuss how these programs are preparing individuals with disabilities for meaningful employment in hotels, restaurants, shops, and cafes. Hear about how new partnerships are being fostered among stakeholders, with innovations emerging from local enterprises including Knockdrinna Farmhouse Foods and L’Arche culinary hub.
