Celtic Calling

Celtic Calling are an Irish chart-topping group consisting of Irish classically trained singers and musicians. All members of Celtic Calling are solo performers in their own right, who come together to share their passion for Irish and Celtic music. Celtic Calling members performing at the Alternative Kilkenny Arts Festival include Victoria Johnston, Rachel Nic Thomás and Heather Fogarty. Celtic Calling’s debut single The Parting Glass went to No.1 in the World Charts on iTunes in Ireland, and performances include St Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin, The Irish Cultural Centre in London, a headline show for National Heritage Week, a sold-out headline show in the Whale Theatre in Wicklow, Ireland and a private party event at Dublin’s 5 star Shelbourne Hotel. In March 2025, they made their US TV debut with their video for The Parting Glass being featured on NBC4 as part of the NYC St Patrick’s Day Parade TV broadcast. Immersive and soul-nourishing, Danny Forde and his art-folk ensemble Every Thing The Light Touches’ music has been praised by luminaries like Glen Hansard, Wallis Bird, Anaïs Mitchell, and Riverdance composer Bill Whelan.
