A very special Christmas Concert in Kells, featuring tenor Paul Byrom and the Cois Nore Choir. All proceeds raised will benefit the Kells Community Hub. Paul Byrom is considered by many to be one of Ireland’s finest crossover tenors. Starting in the business at a very young age, the Dublin-born singer has been in the music industry for over 30 years. Paul has performed in a wide range of productions, from operas and oratorio to recitals and in particular, musical theatre. His talent as a singer has taken him far and wide, and some of his many career highlights include performing for dignitaries such as Emperor Akihito of Japan, former Irish Presidents Mary McAleese and Mary Robinson, and more recently, United States President Barack Obama. In 2020, Paul released his biggest album to date with a full 65 piece orchestra ( What I Did for Love ). The album showcases Paul in his best light. What I Did For Love is his most crossover album to date and debuted in the top ten IMRO charts and no.1 on iTunes. Paul has spent most of 2025 touring America, with his own show earlier in the year and now with Celtic Thunder, returning to them after 15 years. It promises to be a brilliant night of music in Kells!
