Meeting location will be at Ballykeefe Quarry.

Rock up and climb is a Rock Climbing programme that Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership will be running in partnership with Mountaineering Ireland.

This programme is suitable for beginners and is a 2.5 hours introductory to rock climbing.

Please wear comfortable clothing – leggings, tracksuit bottoms, breathable T-Shirt and fleece & an extra warm layer. Be ready for the rain and pack a rain jacket . If weather is good please ensure that you’re wearing sun protection.

The course will be delivered by a qualified leader. The leader will guide you through a taster introduction to Rock Climbing on Tuesday 15th August.
