Margaret’s Kitchen is a unique cooking school that offers personal and distinctly Irish culinary experiences. It is located in the heart of Roscommon, Ireland, a place known for its beautiful landscapes and quiet towns.
Margaret, who is a passionate baker and is affectionately called the ‘brown bread nurse,’ won the National Brown Bread Baking Competition in 2015. She quickly started running customized cooking classes, which led to the creation of Margaret’s Kitchen. Surrounded by their own farmland and famous Roscommon sheep, Margaret invites visitors to enjoy a warm greeting, a special food experience, and a taste of rural life in Ireland, connecting with culture, heritage, and nostalgia. Guests can take in stunning views of an active farm and often see Margaret’s husband, Kevin, herding sheep with his sheepdog, Max.
