Olentangy Orange High School Marching Band ‘The Pride of the Pioneers!’ will be joining us from Ohio, USA on Friday 15th March. The 220 strong band will be performing in front of Kilkenny Castle. Under the direction of Mr. Joshua Boyer, they are a show-style marching band incorporating precision drill and dance routines into their music performances. Come along and enjoy this unique experience and welcome our visitors to Kilkenny!
The band most recently marched in the Hollywood Christmas Parade and Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade. Members of the band have also appeared on stage at Rock on the Range with Papa Roach as well as the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia where the Marching Pioneers received Grand Champion trophies in all categories including Grand Champion Parade Performance, Field Show Performance, Jazz Ensemble and Concert Band.
