Santa ’s unite for a great cause! Dig out your Santa suit and get warmed up for a winter morning run in the beautiful Kilkenny Castle Park in aid of St. Vincent De Paul. Join us on Sunday 14th December 2025 at 11am for the 16th Annual Charity Santa Family Fun Run. There will be a 2km and 5km option. Both are buggy and dog friendly. There will be prizes for top finishers and a free medal for all children. Most importantly, dress to impress in all your Santa , reindeer and elves outfits. As top prizes will go for best dressed family, person and dog. This is an event for all ages to enjoy together! All proceeds go to the St Vincent De Paul. Pre-registration for this event is essential. This run is a sight to behold, so even if running is not your thing, come out and support this great event. The event will start in the grounds of the Castle and finish on The Parade where you will have a chance to browse the Yulefest Christmas Market and enjoy live music on the Yulefest Live Music Stage. There will be plenty of entertainment and a chance to grab a great picture too!
