This December, Yulefest Kilkenny presents the Irish debut of “Starlight”, an extraordinary 360° immersive light and sound experience from the internationally acclaimed artistic collective Luxmuralis*.

Famed for transforming cathedrals, castles, and heritage sites across the UK and Europe, Luxmuralis creates powerful experiences through fine art, sound and light. Now, for the very first time in Ireland they are inviting audiences to step inside the story!

For an unforgettable 8 days, the awe-inspiring 800-year-old St. Canice’s Cathedral will be transformed into a breathtaking canvas, where audiences will be immersed in a 35 spellbinding minute loop of cutting-edge digital creativity. Inspired by the guiding star of the Nativity, the installation leads audiences through a series of moving projections and a bespoke, cinematic soundscape.

Described as “the stained-glass windows of our time,” Luxmuralis has captivated over 1.2 million people at some of the world’s most iconic locations, including St. Paul’s Cathedral, Oxford University, Limburg Dom in Germany and The Tower of London.
