Styrofoam Winos is the voltron of songwriters, multi-instrumentalists, and longtime friends Joe Kenkel, TrevorNikrant, and Lou Turner. The trio formed in Nashville’sDIY scene and released their debut self-titled studio albumin 2021. Styrofoam Winos’ recordings and live sets buzzwith the energy of the band’s radically communal approach,rotating vocal and instrumental roles within theirexploratory folk rock songs. The band went on to release aMichael Hurley covers tape in 2022 and appeared on MJLenderman’s And the Wind (Live and Loose!) album lastyear. Their sophomore studio album, Real Time, is out nowvia Sophomore Lounge.
