The Countess is a play that looks at Lady Ellen Cuffe, who did so much for Kilkenny over the years.
She was celebrated as the most important Jewish woman in Irish history for her boundless philanthropy and political acumen.
The play will be read by Delia Lowery and Ger Cody during the St. Brigid’s Festival on February 4th at The Home Rule Club at 6pm.
