The Economics of Energy

Saturday 29th March 1975
Location: The Set Theatre, John St.
This is the winter of our discontent. Can we make it to St Patrick’s Day? Energy bills are set to double at least, energy supplies are uncertain, energy companies are on the verge of bankruptcy, rationing is on the cards and an entire economic and social model built on cheap, reliable energy is over. Everything will change, our lifestyles, where we live and work, and how we travel, but there are also opportunities in sustainable energy, and of course nuclear. The question is, can we make it to Spring?
