Ever wanted to try the uilleann pipes – Ireland’s unique and beautiful national instrument? Now’s your chance!

Join Music Generation Kilkenny, in partnership with Na Píobairí Uilleann and Yulefest Kilkenny, for a special Try the Pipes session.

You’ll get to:
🎵 Listen to live performances from accomplished pipers
🎵 Try the pipes yourself with expert guidance
🎵 Learn about upcoming uilleann pipes classes

This free event is open to young people aged 10–18, and instruments will be provided on the day.

The session will be led by two brilliant pipers:
🎶 Kieran Joy (Na Píobairí Uilleann)
🎶 Mick Foley (Kilkenny Pipers Club)
