Ways of Seeing developed from the idea that songs could unveil parts of the self that might otherwise never have been revealed. This idea brought their debut record, 2022’s End Comes To Light, to life and it is just as prevalent on their upcoming sophomore album, The Inheritance of Fear. Along with a shift towards a rawer, more menacing sound to that of their debut record,
Ways of Seeing explores all it is to be human on The Inheritance of Fear. Through allegorical lyrics, the band covers the personal, political and universal with each song offering the listener a unique perspective. This album, scheduled for September release, has been produced by Christian Best (Susan O’Neill, Mick Flannery, O Emperor) with additional production and mixing by Daniel Fox of Gilla Band (Sprints, Lambrini Girls, Silverbacks).
