Using examples from some of their recent work, Barry will demystify the various stages of the post-production workflow before delving into sound design, its distinction from music, and the technologies used. He will also discuss the impacts of the pandemic on sound design workflows, offer advice for anyone considering sound design as a career and look at how sound designers and mix engineers work as a team. Before wrapping up, Barry will provide some tips on finding work in the industry, making this talk a must for anyone with a passion for pursuing a career in sound.
