David MacGregor cut his songwriting teeth in alt-pop darlings Kid Canaveral. In 2019 he reinvented himself as Broken Chanter with a critically acclaimed solo debut that showcased his lyrical dexterity and unwavering ear for a tune.

His latest album, Catastrophe Hits, finds MacGregor kicking back against humanity’s apparent slide towards disaster with scathing humour and a rousing chorus or three. For this gig in Cleere’s the addition of a full band gives MacGregor a chance to let rip. The apocalypse has never sounded so good!
