What did Globalisation Ever do for us?

Saturday 04th November 2023
Location: The Set Theatre, John St.
You heard the Monty Python’s “What did the Romans ever do for us” sketch, well, as anti-globalisation protests unify both far Left and far Right, we ask, in the most globalised country in the world, what did globalisation ever do for us? Prepare to be amazed by this session where we get to grips with a globalised economy which is completely different to the world we lived in even ten years ago. If globalisation is on the retreat – as many economic nationalists want – what will replace it? And will we miss it when it’s gone?

Sony Kapoor, Peter Antonioni, Leah Rose-Downey, Host:Fiona Frawley
