Join Us for a Spectacular Talent Showcase at Droichead Family Resource Centre!

Get ready to be amazed as the young stars from Droichead Family Resource Centre showcase their incredible skills! Under the expert guidance of Kate O’Brien, specializing in hip-hop, freestyle, and choreography, and Jo Hennessy from Barnstorm Theatre Company, leading drama workshops in role play, improvisation and creating performance pieces. These talented children have been part of an inspiring six-week performing arts initiative.

Set in the heart of the rural community of Callan, this project has provided children with the opportunity to explore dance, drama and singing in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment. The initiative will culminate in a dazzling Talent Showcase, where 45 children attending the afterschool services will present their skills to their families, friends, and the wider community.

Suitable for children aged 5-12 years, these free on-site workshops have offered a healthy, active and expressive outlet, allowing the young participants to express their emotions through creativity and build confidence.
