Richard Strauss’ Elektra is an opera steeped in derangement and blood lust in which Strauss pushes the boundaries of his art. Directed by Conall Morrison and conducted by Fergus Sheil, Irish National Opera’s acclaimed 2021 production features a commanding performance by Giselle Allen.
