Born in Basra, Iraq in 1945, Faisel creates vibrant works using oil, acrylic, watercolour, and ink. He draws inspiration from Mesopotamian heritage, blending it with modern techniques to depict Iraqi life through paintings, including scenes of historical everyday moments. His coffee shop pieces often depict a variety of influential figures within Iraqi society.
