Get ready to turn tasty, sustainable foods into powerful, planet-saving superheroes! In this fun, hands-on workshop, kids will dream up their own food-based characters and bring them to life through illustration. Guided by a professional local artist, Blaise Butler, they will explore storytelling and drawing, and learn how good food choices can help the Earth.
Perfect for creative kids who love to draw, imagine, and have fun while caring for the planet!
Workshop 1: 12pm – 1pm (Ages 6-8)
Workshop 2: 2pm – 3pm (Ages 9-12)
About the Artist: Blaise Butler is a Kilkenny-based artist and illustrator who loves bringing imagination to life through engaging, hands-on workshops. Inspired by folklore, nature, and creative storytelling, Blaise’s sessions combine imaginative storytelling with practical, hands-on artmaking, encouraging young participants to explore big ideas through drawing, design, and creativity. Passionate about sparking imagination and helping young artists express themselves, Blaise creates workshops where kids make something truly their own, in a fun, welcoming environment.
