As part of Savour Kilkenny 2025, guests are invited to step into a carefully curated food and story-filled adventure that celebrates the ancient Celtic New Year of Samhain. This is more than a food tour, it’s a journey through Kilkenny’s medieval heart, blending modern culinary excellence with the old tales that have shaped this hauntingly historic city.
Tour Overview – Feast of Flavours: Kilkenny City Food Tour
We are excited to host an excellent foodie walking tour of Kilkenny for the Savour Festival, bringing you to try everything from local cheeses to artisan chocolates, traditional Irish fare to modern culinary delights, and local brews to delicious pastries. The tour will last approximately 3 hours, a culinary walking tour of the city. It gives an excellent overview of our passionate people and our beautiful produce, which combine to make Kilkenny one of Ireland’s gourmet jewels.
During the tour, you will get to experience a taste from artisan producers, creative beer projects, traditional family-run businesses, and young entrepreneurs with devotion and commitment to showcase the best of Irish produce. Some example of stops featured Arán bakery, Petronella, Butler House, Cake Face, The Little Green Grocer to name a few…

Access to a live cookery demonstrations as part of the Savour Kilkenny festival. (Saturday and Sunday only, first come, first served)
