Description:
This Culture Night event will be an exhibition of the Knitted Hearts project displaying a selection of the knitted hearts in box frames. Along with a description of the project, there will be a small gathering of staff and the artists, and the knitters to celebrate their achievement of the project.

Followed by tea, coffee and cake.
The Knitted Hearts project is an Arts and Healthcare craft project collaboration between the following:

The lead artist is a nurse working in the emergency department
End of Life care coordinator representing the End of Life Care Committee at SLGH
The Integrated Care of the Older people, a project at the Primary Care Centre for Older Persons Kilkenny
The weekly knitting group in Loughboy Library
The arts department in SLGH
The event will take place at St. Luke’s General Hospital Gallery, near the main entrance (North Entrance).
