Clogh Writers will host Culture Night 2025 in the local community.

This year’s event will use the symbol of a tree to highlight aspects of our culture, from the very origins, the roots that draw on the sap to nourish and encourage our traditions and heritage.

Different aspects of local and wider culture, the branches, will be celebrated through creative expression, including words, visual arts, and music.

The focus for the event will be on times, past, present and future.

The symbol of the tree will be central to our event and the branches will be the highlights on the evening – our local traditions, and changing times, for example, games/sport, language/literature, place-names, employment, history, emigration, and many more.
