Savour Monday

Monday 27th October 2025
Location: The Parade, Kilkenny
Savour Monday is the relaxed, wrap-up day of Savour Kilkenny Food Festival, held on the final Monday of the festival (27 October in 2025). It gives both locals and visitors one last chance to enjoy the festival’s flavours, conversations, and culture alongside Madra Monday but in a gentler, more reflective way than the high-energy weekend. Expect the Monday Market (Reduced Savour Market), Madra Monday, KCLR Spice of Life Cooking Demos and CISE Workshops and Talks also taking place on Savour Monday in the Festival Quarter.
Here’s what makes Savour Monday special:
Monday Market – Reduced Artisan & Street Food Market (11 am – 4 pm, The Parade) – 11am – 4pm
The Monday Market is a “reduced” version of the weekend market: fewer stalls, but carefully curated artisan food and street food vendors. It’s still free to enter.
Madra Monday (Dog-Friendly Events) – The Parade – 11am – 4:30pm
One of the day’s signature features is Madra Monday (hosted by Red Mills), where festivalgoers bring their dogs. Activities include playdates, treats, photo sessions, and pet care advice.
CISE (Camphill Initiatives for Social Enterprise) Workshops & Talks – Old KBC Bank – 11am – 4pm
Savour partners with CISE to run inclusive workshops and food talks. The aim is to highlight skills in food, growing, baking, and to bring awareness to social enterprise in the food sector.
KCLR / “Spice of Life” Cooking Demos & Talks 11am – 4pm
The Taste Stage remains active with KCLR-hosted cooking demos and food talks, keeping the culinary learning and entertainment moving.
