HamsandwicH Announce Intimate Acoustic Tour Across Ireland This May
Celebrated Kells indie outfit HamsandwicH will embark on a special acoustic tour around Ireland throughout May, bringing a beautifully stripped-back reimagining of their beloved back catalogue to audiences nationwide.
The trio — Niamh Farrell, Podge McNamee, and Darcy — return to the road following a hugely successful performance at Dublin’s Vicar Street last October, and their critically acclaimed headline acoustic show at the Nollaig na mBan Festival in Dublin on 6 January.
Adding further excitement to the tour, support on selected dates will come from the critically acclaimed duo Driven Snow, bringing their own atmospheric, harmony-rich sound to complement HamsandwicH’s intimate acoustic set-up.
Known for their distinctive harmonies, heartfelt songwriting, and dynamic live energy, HamsandwicH will present their work in an intimate, scaled-down setting that highlights the depth and warmth of their music. Fans can expect fresh interpretations of favourites from across their career, delivered with the band’s trademark charm and emotional clarity.

HamsandwicH have been one of Ireland’s most steady indie bands over the years as many music acts and trends have come and gone. Not only has HamsandwicH survived but has thrived as the band recently release their fifth album and their first Live album. One of Ireland’s most enthralling live acts in the last 22 years, Kells, Co. Meath band HamsandwicH are well known for their incendiary live performances which has established them as one of the top touring acts in the country. Featuring their signature calling card of Niamh Farrell’s powerful yet sweet vocal, Podge McNamee’s juxtaposing baritone, and Darcy’s soaring guitar riffs, if ever there was a band to feed off their audience it is HamsandwicH; melodic, hook-laden, and heart-warmingly charming.
HamsandwicH ended 2025 with a well-received show in Dublin’s iconic Vicar Street Venue in October reaffirming the band’s legacy in Ireland. The band entered their 23rd year with a sold-out show headlining Dublin’s Nollaig na mBan Festival in St. Columba’s Church on January 6th setting the stage for an acoustic tour around the country throughout May 2026.
In 2024, HamsandwicH released their first live album, and the band’s 5th album overall, simply entitled “The Live Album”. Recorded in Dublin’s prestigious 3Olympia Theatre on October 21st, 2023, this captured the band’s full live essence as they celebrated their 20th anniversary. The double-live album featured a career spanning set-list featuring songs from across their four studio albums “Carry the Meek” (2008), “White Fox” (2010), “Stories From The Surface” (2015), and “Magnify” (2023).
