Darkness Into Light 2026 is Pieta’s biggest fundraising event, a 5km walk that takes place at 4:15 a.m. on Saturday, 9 May 2026. The event symbolises hope as communities come together to support mental health and suicide and self-harm prevention. Funds raised support Pieta’s free, lifesaving services for people affected by suicide or self-harm. You can join an official local walk or take part your own way by organising a sunrise activity and fundraising. Electric Ireland has supported Darkness Into Light for years, helping it grow into a widespread act of solidarity.
