Exploring her complicated personal struggles with addiction and relationships, featuring an evocative soundtrack of Winehouse’s timeless classics, this is a poignant exploration of her creativity, honesty, and extraordinary musical genius and the pitfalls of celebrity.
On a journey to stardom that thrust her from the craziness and colour of ’90s Camden High Street to global adoration – and back again – Amy’s complicated personal relationship with Blake Fielder Civil, along with her dependence on alcohol and drugs and other destructive behaviours lead to a paparazzi frenzy all of which contributed to her tragic demise.
