Celebrating Creativity at St. Luke’s General Hospital!
We are thrilled to announce a special event celebrating the incredible creativity and artistic talents of the young patients at St. Luke’s General Hospital (SLGH). Patients and siblings will be invited to pop up heart-warming visual arts and crafts workshops, followed by an inspiring exhibition showcasing the beautiful art created by our brave young artists.
Event Highlights:
Pop-up Art Stations: Located in the Paediatric Outpatients clinics of SLGH Kilkenny, where creativity knows no bounds. These workshops will be for young people attending the Paediatric Clinics, which run three times a week from 2pm-5pm, with approximately 20-30 patients attending each clinic.
Bedside Art Cart: Bringing the joy of art directly to the In-Patients on the Paediatric Ward.
Community Contributions: Children or relatives of SLGH staff are warmly invited to contribute their art for the exhibition. We will send an email to all staff to invite their children/relatives (under 16) to send in artwork to include in the exhibition.
Sibling Participation: Siblings of patients visiting the hospital are also welcome to join in the creative fun.
The exhibition launch is between 2pm-3pm on 6th of June and will be on public display outdoors in the Cruinniu na nÓg Gallery until August 2025.
This is a free event, and the participants can drop-in on the day. No booking is required.
