Café Lates is a new initiative under the Night Time Economy Action Plan to encourage local cafes in Kilkenny city to extend their opening hours by offering innovative and cultural events after 6pm. Six cafes in Kilkenny are taking part in the first night of Café Lates on Thursday 17th April from 6pm

The café culture in Ireland has become very popular so by supporting them to extend their opening hours and offer live performances, the participating cafes have the opportunity to showcase a night time experience for new and existing customers.
