The winter events program at Sanctuary in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny, home of the former and recently restored historic Kilfane House, has just been announced! From art, gardening and wreath-making workshops to a number of exciting live performances there are many intimate events for the festive season to choose from throughout November and December.
On the weekend of 2nd December Christmas will be officially launched at Sanctuary with the turning on of the Christmas lights as well as live musical concerts from the World-Renowned concert flautist Karin Leitner and Irish roots group The Savage Jim Breen, all in aid of the Lorna Byrne Children’s Foundation. It’s an opportunity to celebrate for the first time in the atmospheric surrounding of this magnificent period property, with the option of Bed and Breakfast, should you wish to stay.
