A Toastmasters meeting provides an opportunity and a supportive environment to improve your public speaking, communication, and leadership skills.
The first half of the meeting comprises members giving short 5 to 7 minute speeches/presentations and receive friendly and supportive feedback.
There is a break for tea and coffee when members chat and network.
The second half is the fun half when one member designated as the Topics Master for the evening gives out a series of questions and topics for members and guests if they wish to give a short (one to two minute) response. These gives everyone a chance to speak and gives us practice in impromptu speaking.
The meeting will conclude by 10.00pm
