Join the Lorna Byrne Children’s Foundation for a very special fundraising concert by world renowned Concert Flautus, Karin Leitner.
We welcome you to join us at Sanctuary for this joyous Christmas event bringing together friends and family. The concert will include a mulled wine and canape reception to get the festive spirit flowing, all set within the recently restored, historic Kilfane House. All proceeds are in aid of the Lorna Byrne Children’s Foundation
Karin Leitner has traveled worldwide as a soloist and with chamber music partners. Born in Vienna, but Irish in her soul, she lived in Birr, Co. Offaly, London, Hawaii, Australia and Vienna. She played in the Stage Orchestra of the Vienna State Opera, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra London, BBC Symphony, London Mozart Players, London Westend (Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables) as well as in the Irish Chamber Orchestra. She composed her own music for flute, harp and orchestra and has 4 self composed CDs favourably reviewed in the Irish Music Magazines, and 3 deep relaxation CDs in 432 Hertz for wellbeing, as well as 3 classical/Irish CDs.
