Pianist Shuann Chai is a soloist and chamber musician who performs on a wide range of early to modern pianos, bringing the emotional content of music from the past to listeners in the present. Recognised by critics as “a graceful virtuoso”, she has been praised for performances that are “sensitive and communicative, …full of warmth and emotion”. Nicolas Roudier is one of the leading historical horn players of the new generation in early music. Frequently appearing in recitals he showcases the evolution of the horn through time and geography by selecting historically appropriate instruments from his unique collection of about 25 original horns, dating from the 1790s to the present.
