Two years post-divorce and Blandine still finds it difficult to move on. Her only child, Benjamin, fears his mother will become a recluse after he also decides to leave home, and so reaches out to Blandine’s former school friend – the free-spirited Magalie.
Before long, Blandine has reluctantly agreed to go on holiday with Magalie to the Greek Cyclades islands…
The charm of Two Tickets To Greece stems from Laure Calamy and Olivia Côte’s delightful performances as the very different women Magalie and Blandine, as well as a scene-stealing turn from Kristin Scott Thomas, playing against type, as a hippie jewellery-maker called Bijou. A mix of light comedy and drama, the resulting film is a warm, upbeat tale of female friendship.
